Easter in Norway is a cherished tradition – a time when families gather to celebrate spring’s arrival with outdoor adventures and cozy gatherings. At Union Øye, the surroundings are perfectly set for your Easter holiday, with snow-capped peaks and the serene fjord.
Spend your days skiing, snowshoeing, or exploring the spectacular landscapes, then return to warm sitting rooms where crackling fires and comfortable corners invite you to relax with a book or something warming to drink. Challenge the family to board games or snooker in the Game Room, and savor exceptional local cuisine that celebrates the season.
We’ve prepared special Easter traditions for our guests: take an invigorating morning dip in the fjord, test your wits at our Easter quiz in the Barn, or gather around a campfire at Gamma with a lovely cup of hot chocolate.
Easter holiday

Easter at Union Øye has its own quiet rhythm. Each morning begins with a sauna and a swim, and every day there is lunch in the Conservatory and an evening of storytelling to settle into. Across the Easter days, the programme unfolds around the season – a quiz in the barn, the firepit lit in the garden, and a special Afternoon Tea.
